Upon arriving in the country last January 13, David immediately sat down with News5’s Lia Cruz for a candid, one-on-one interview for the morning news program Sapul Sa Singko.
During the interview, the pop star confessed experiencing jitters before the Philippines for the first time.“I was scared (because) I didn’t know what to think. I didn’t know what to expect”, David shared. He also admits being awestruck by the talent of the Filipino singers he’s met during all his visits: “All my friends from the Philippines sing and they all have amazing voices.”
