No sooner after signing his contract, David immediately faced the press in a series of questions.
Visibly jet-lagged but still with his trademark cheerful disposition, the 21-year-old heartthrob recounted the moments of his arrival in Manila and meeting his co-stars Jasmine Curtis Smith and Eula Caballero for the first time. He also earnestly shared why he seized the opportunity to do an acting gig in the Philippines: “I feel comfortable with the people here and I feel the fans have always been warm here”.
When asked about his upcoming role in “Nandito Ako”, David was quick to share: “The part that I will be playing is very similar to me, so it shouldn’t be too difficult and I think it will be great because the fans will be able to feel my presence in the series.” And yes, he will be singing.
And proving how press-savvy he is, when asked if he is open to falling in love with a Filipina, David quickly replied “You can never say never.”
